Junkie is from Sheffield, United Kingdom.
He has had his hand in writing songs from the young age of 12/13 years old.
He has been in plenty of bands over the years.
How did he come up with the name Junkie Overtones you ask?
The singer in a band he was in once said 'I don't sing about love. I write songs about being an alcoholic. My lyrics always have junkie overtones'. He told them he was stealing it and he did !
I know covid/lockdown back in 2020 was hard for everyone, Junkie picked up Ableton and a launchpad after starting to play with synths again during this time and got obsessed with samplers and started putting beats together.
