Song Name: Don’t

What I heard listening to your song:

The slow melodic intro was a clear indication the words will highlight this song. The keyboard's progression was on point. I personally thought the song's octave was chosen to be a bass forward piece of music. Orchestrated uniquely with what sounds like an electrical current being manipulated by a classic MXR Phaser, also known as the

Phase 90.

Which is a legendary 70’s-90’s guitar pedal used by many rock guitar legends; like

Eddie Van Halen and David Gilmour. Which are two of the top 10 guitar players of all time. The

MXR Phaser is also deeply rooted in the sounds of the 80’s new wave movement. The…

Song Name: Lady in The Irish Bar

What I heard listening to your song:

The guitar intro had an ample amount of

reverb, giving the song a dreamy start, which was a great choice. As the song took off, I got exactly what the song title states; a traditional Irish celtic sound and song.

The instruments were well mixed, and the beautiful singing voice was perfectly blended into the overall mix.

Song structure:

The song was pieced together nicely. The tempo complimented the upbeat rhythm, giving the song a fun-energetic attribute.

Just when you think a change is needed to give the song more complexity, you get some small changes. Like a drum shuffle, subtle lead-guitar…

Artist Name: Bad Bubble

Song Name: Stumbled Recently

What I heard listening to your song:

Right away, I got a heavy dose of New Wave influence.

As the song begins the keyboard synth gives a dreamy sound, and the percussion gives the

song a nice rhythmic tatatatata snare beat which is a perfect fit for this song.

Reminding listeners, that more is not always best. I enjoy the low frequency sounds that wave in and out complementing the rhythm section perfectly. The tempo was right where it needed to be, allowing the song to breathe, and giving the listener a spacey futuristic tour through this song.

The vocal effects are out of this world and are so unique that it…

Artist Name: Terror

Song Name: The End.01

What I heard listening to your song: The track starts out with the sounds of bubbles popping, water drips, and something moving fast over the water-like sound effects. Followed by an eerie 2, maybe 3 note sequence slowly beginning to get louder with each measure, leading to unexpected booming low notes. As the track begins to add more beats and sound effects, the tempo picks up, intensifying the sounds waves that are being twisted and turned into a cool

futuristic groove. Before the final the effects begin to taper off, and the tempo slows down. The track completely cuts out, creating another element that allows the track to go full circle; leaving you…

Song Name: Star Gazing

What I heard listening to your song: Starts out with a Halloween spooky effect, followed by a

drum beat loop. At points during the track you begin to hear another effect that sounds like

those noise tubes you hear at a sports game. The ones that you spin in the air and howl. The

track is called ā€œStar Gazingā€, so, I interpret that effect as sounds of space traveling. Halfway

through the track, it does feel like the beats and effects begin to get lost. The beats are a little out of time, but that could be by choice. That is the wonderful thing about art, you can do what you want…
